CDMC- an Israeli provider of clinical data management, analysis & reporting services gains Electronic Data Capture Capabilities to Speed Information Capture and Streamline Regulatory Reporting
CDMC (a Bioforum professional company), a provider of clinical data management, analysis & reporting services, based in Rehovot, Israel, has selected Oracle Health Sciences software to support the growing & evolving Israeli life science market.
The company, which managed approximately 50 clinical trials in its 4 years of activity, is one of the first in Israel to utilize Oracle Health Sciences InForm Global Trial Management (GTM) and is able to provide pharmaceutical and biomedical companies with EDC solutions for their local or global clinical trials.
To support its continued expansion initiative, CDMC required a robust, proven and highly reliable and scalable clinical data management system. Oracle Health Sciences InForm GTM, provides CDMC with the functionality needed to help ensure quality services to pharmaceutical and biotech organizations through accurate clinical data capture and precise information management.
Oracle will provision, configure, deploy and host a dedicated development environment to enable CDMC to design, build and test clinical trials. CDMC will use Oracle InForm GTM, and Oracle Central Designer to facilitate process automation; effectively capture, manage and report patient data; and facilitate regulatory compliance.
CDMC has launched a global clinical trial using Oracle InForm GTM in July 2011 – the company’s first study using the newly selected application.
Oracle worked with CDMC to ensure system compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration as well as European regulatory agency requirements. The streamlined training and mentoring simplified the system rollout and meant that users were immediately productive with the applications.
